Paul is a Servita Consultant with over 40+ years’ experience in health care IT and Information Systems across Healthcare in the UK, Qatar and USA.
He has worked at local, regional and national levels on largescale programmes linked to national policy.
Paul was the Digital Lead for Cheshire and Merseyside NHS Trust leading a programme of shared systems including a health information exchange, population health management and patient held records (population of 2.5 million).
He was also the Chief Information Office on the Board of two major NHS Trusts in the north of England, where he procured an EPR system and led a Global Digital Exemplar programme to demonstrate the advantages of advanced digitization and local population health management.
He was responsible for Project delivery for UK’s NHS National Programme for IT and part of the team delivering national platforms including the NHS Spine and Summary Care Record.
Paul worked as the Assistant Exec Director Health Information Systems Programme at Hamad Medical Corporation, Qatar’s principal healthcare provider, which operates 10 hospitals covering some 90% of the population’s healthcare coverage.
