As Servita’s Strategic Health Advisor David brings a wealth of healthcare experience to the Leadership Team that benefits the entire Servita group of companies and its clients.

David is also Chair at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust and Chair of Demelza Hospice Care for Children.

David has previously held hospital and healthcare CEO and senior executive positions, with more than 10 years running large NHS teaching hospitals as well as 6 years of change management in the Middle East as Executive Director for Corporate Development at Hamad Medical Corporation, the main public hospital provider in Qatar, reporting directly to the Managing Director.

David has also been a Ministerial Advisor on Private Sector Involvement and Public Private Partnership to the Minister of Public Health in Qatar.

Prior to moving to Qatar, David worked in the independent health sector, and was an NHS Chief Executive from 1991 to 2003, including at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Trust and the Oxford Radcliffe Hospitals NHS Trust. Originally a Chartered Accountant, David worked in publishing, property services, the brewing industry, an industrial starches business, and in the City before joining the NHS as a Finance Director in 1990.
